Sample Life Path Map (Level One)
This is an example of a Level One Life Path Map showing the themes and main chapters of one's life to the present.

This is an example of the earliest stage of Life Path Mapping. It shows the major events in Marnie's life and their positive and negative impacts on her life. The middle line is Marnie's age line. The colored lines represent events and themes running through her life. For example, notice the contrasts Marnie identifies between "Wrenching" and "Idyllic" events in her second Life Chapter, which she labels "Hell".
Synopsis of events in Marnie's Life shown in above Life Map:
Marnie has a "Storybook (Idyllic) beginning" living with her aunt and uncle in the country. Her mother remarries to an abusive, alcoholic stepfather and moves her to inner city Chicago (Wrenching). She finds her Spiritual Path at 23. Her Mother throws her out and she finds her own life. Marnie marries at 25 - a stepping off point- neither good nor bad. Her Daughter is born at 34; the husband becomes jealous, so she leaves and gains freedom and peace. At 43 she finds her true life partner and enters a long idyllic phase until her partner's death from cancer at 58. This relationship brought the latest lesson - "Spirit has always been there for me" . Now Marnie wants to find ways to give back to life and to establish a loving "Family" of friends.
