Level Two
Understanding Your Life Story

All of us have a Life Story as meaningful and well put together as a classic myth or popular screenplay.  Your Life Story has a cast of characters (known as Archetypes by Carl Jung).  Your Life Story can be mapped as a Script, like a movie script. It has a plot structure, chapters and themes, obstacles or conflicts, transitions, a message, goals, and resolutions. Where are you at in your own Life Story?  So far is your Life Script a comedy or a drama?  What dragons do you face and how can you slay them?  In Level Two, you will find your own Narrative Thread that weaves the Chapters of your Life Story into Your Life Script.  In Level Three, you will also be able to write the Script for Fulfilling your Life Dream.

Here is Marnie's Level Two Script of her Life Story:

The script below was based on Marnie's Life Map from Level 1.  To create the script, Marnie reflected on how the chapters in her life story were like a popular movie or classic myth.

Marnie's Life Story
Title:
  Achieving Graduation

     Chapter 1 :

 Chapter 2 :

  Chapter 3 :

Chapter 4 :

     CHILDHOOD

HELL

 LESSON

     GIVING BACK

Synopsis  It was a joyful, happy, peaceful time. She learned all sorts of lessons about how not to treat people, how to help people who are suffering.
She found her path and married. Marnie learned all  about herself, what life is about, why she’s here and what she needs to do.

Utilizing all the lessons, Marnie  was able to give back and pay back to others in many different ways.
Parallel Myth

Like Frodo from Lord of the Rings:

Narrative Statement
Marnie started out with an Idyllic life but then she had lessons to attain: she had to go through Hell.  In the end Marnie gave back by succeeding  and changed the world.

Here is Marnie's Archetype Mapping:

After comparing her life to a popular story, Marnie associated all of her Life Themes with two Archetype characters,
the Elder Leader or the Communicator.
Marnie's own definitions for these are:

Elder Leader--Like a Native American Elder, someone who gathered much wisdom;

Communicator--The Communicator's role is to give the ability to understand, to look at a mirror of oneself.
